Myth Busting : Dairy is bad

There is a new trend of promoting health and fitness by blaming a particular food group and claiming how bad it can be for health and how supposedly eliminating them from your diet can improve your health.

Let's discuss one of that food group - "dairy" today. One of the major claims of not having dairy in your diet is that almost 65 percent population having a digestive issue with dairy so it should be bad in the first place Yes, 65 percent of the human population has a reduced ability to digest lactose (the sugar found in milk), this doesn't mean you are intolerant. Many sources of dairy are lactose-free for example - most of the cheese, butter, whey protein isolate, etc . The second major claim is that dairy can harm your cardiovascular health. Which according to evidence is completely false on the contrary fermented dairy can have a possible role in cardiovascular disease prevention. According to most of the studies, dairy consumption has a positive impact on body composition, bone density, and health biomarkers. One study showed that dairy aided in greater fat loss, lean muscle mass gain and improved bone health ( calories were restricted). Consuming dairy is nothing to be feared and avoided, don't let anyone fearmonger you into thinking its bad for you.
