Few commonly observed reasons are: 1) Being overweight: A part of body weight is bared by support frames such as Knees, Back and hips. Load bearing capacity of joints decreases with excessive increase in overall body weight. An excessive overweight person can be benefited by losing weight. A pound of weight lost is as equivalent as four pounds of load/pressure reduced on joints. 2) Ignoring the medical conditions or limitations: A person who had or has any medical conditions pertaining to the joint should be selecting the exercise wisely and by no means experiment with any variations that can aggravate/ trigger the pain again. 3) Insufficient warm up: This can be a major precursor for triggering joint pain and other major issues, if ignored. A proper warm-up ensures improved blood flow and oxygen efficiency which helps in overall improvement in performance of the exercise. 4) Excessive load & Improper execution of exercise: Ego lifting is one of the biggest precursors in this case and also improper range of motion may trigger joint pain. Lifting with right form and technique with bearable load, constant improvisation of ROM is a must! 5) Improper body posture: Slouching, habit of wearing a backpack only on one side: puts a lot of stress on back, hips and joints (support frames).
