Is Dal Covering Your Protein Needs

Whats the major source of protein of an average veg Indian ? If you ask this question , the answer will be mostly , Dal . But does dal cover your daily needs.Lets check it out. Dal contains around 25-28 grm protein per 100 grm and let's assume a person eats 2 katori of dal in a day , so it will be around 60-70 grm uncooked dal . This makes protein around 15-17 grm from dal . So even for a person who weights around 60kg this is way less and another important point , Dal in itself is not a complete source of protein. So what to do , add soya , paneer , whey to diet to complete your protein intake and have a healthy life 👍
