Myth-busting: high protein diet bad for kidney

==================================== This myth is based on that those who have pre-existing kidney disease, higher protein intake can damage the kidney function which actually is true but for a healthy individual with no pre-existing kidney disease, higher protein intake does not have any negative impact on kidney function rather evidence suggested that the response in dietary intake of protein can actually increase glomerular filtration rate ( better kidney function ) So in nutshell, if something is bad for people who already have a certain disease does not mean that thing contribute to the cause of disease. For people having history of stones. What is the recommend protein to body mass ratio? Is 1 gm per kg of body weight the limit?
