Some people tend to bring their knees towards each other while going down.

It puts unwanted stress on knee which compromises the range of motion and it can also lead to injury. What correction do you need to make? - Slightly point your toes outward .(11 o'clock and 1 o'clock direction) - While going down point your knees in the direction of your toes. This should deal with the issue and you will also be able to increase your range of motion. Hope it helps.
