Cardio in fasted state

Myth busting: Fasted cardio for more fat loss

===================================== This myth has prevailed in the fitness industry since decades and the origin of this myth back in 1976 wherein research it showed who did fast cardio used more stored fat than those who have consumed glucose before. But this does not take into account the entire picture- it is true that you use more stored! fat during the cardio session but it does not mean that you will lose more fat the entire day. Recent studies have shown that yes you burn more of stored fat during the fasted cardio session but you will burn less of the stored fat in next 24 hours (in comparison to those who have consumed food prior exercise) At the same time ,if you enjoy doing it then you can continue doing it in fasted state , it's not bad either So to lose fat you just need to be in a caloric deficit and workout frequently References - https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/25429252 https://www.mdpi.com/2411-5142/2/4/43 https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/21411835 Cheers
