Let's do some Math! 🧮
Eight hours of a desk job, five days a week is almost 40hours spending on a chair!!!! And then multiply it by the number of years of experience! That's the amount of time spent on an office chair. There has been evidence that prolonged sitting and awkward postures together are associated with low back pain! Many studies support that workstation exercises and back care along with an excellent ergonomic chair, and desk setup helps in preventing, and also recovering from occupational aches & pains! Here are some few clues to find a perfect chair for yourself:🪑 ✨The backrest needs to be adjustable and follow the curve of the spine. It also has to support the curve in the lower back. ✨Feet must rest flat on the ground comfortably. If now not, alter the chair height or add a footrest. ✨Armrests must be close to the body frame and allow the shoulder to relax. ✨Arm height must be adjustable and suit the peak of the table. This could prevent pressure to the shoulders. ✨The back of the chair must come to the center of the shoulder blades so that you can provide adequate support, above the shoulders is even better. ✨The seat of the chair should be lengthy sufficient to put or three-finger lengths among it and the knee. ✨If possible, the cushion must be reminiscence foam. Different cushions wear out quickly and make the chair uncomfortable. Hope this helps! 💛 Reference: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1740746/ https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4415130/
