Most people ignore this fact that mental fitness is as necessary as physical fitness.⁣⁣⁣ They don't mind discussing how often they lift weights or go to the gym but they⁣⁣⁣ do mind discussing their mental health with others. Some people think that talking⁣⁣⁣ about areas of our mind that we need to improve can be risky professionally and⁣⁣⁣ socially.⁣⁣⁣

⁣⁣ I am differentiating between the body, the brain, and the mind. The mind is⁣⁣⁣ attached to the body via the brain. The brain is part of the body that we can see. It⁣⁣⁣ controls all vital human functions. But the mind is your thoughts, feelings,⁣⁣⁣ emotions, and memories. It's actually more than that, but we don't have time to⁣⁣⁣ think about it.⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Mental fitness is so important that it shouldn't be neglected. Your daily routine can⁣⁣⁣ help you maintain that. You cannot improve your mental health by sitting idle with⁣⁣⁣ no purpose in life. Our mind controls our body. We have to prepare our minds and⁣⁣⁣ work on that. I am giving you a simple task. Take a piece of paper and write "Tasks⁣⁣⁣ for today". Then start making basic pointers. For example, Get up at 7 am in the⁣⁣⁣ morning, take a shower and get ready, Read some good books, Go for a walk-in⁣⁣⁣ the evening, etc. When you complete a task, tick mark it and try to complete all the⁣⁣⁣ tasks that you've written. Believe me, this simple activity will make a change in⁣⁣⁣ your lifestyle and you will definitely feel happy. It's just the negative thoughts that⁣⁣⁣ cross our minds every now and then.⁣⁣⁣ To become mentally healthy you need to think positively. Here are a few tips and⁣ tricks that you can follow to be mentally fit:⁣ 1) Try to engage yourself in something you really love.⁣ 2) Keep your mind relaxed and be gentle with yourself.⁣ 3) Change your old boring lifestyle and try something different.⁣ 4) Workout every day.⁣ 5) Meditate at least for 30 mins every morning.⁣ ⁣⁣ Our mind is connected to our body. The more you help your body the more you⁣⁣⁣ help your mind. Physical Activity Increases the flow of oxygen to your brain. It also⁣⁣⁣ increases the number of endorphins (Happy Chemicals) in your brain. Schedule a⁣⁣⁣ mental fitness breaks into your calendar right next to your workout schedule.⁣⁣⁣ Your mind and your health are worth it.
