#PrioritizeYourPlate: SQUATS Expert Amrita Bhatia shares tips on managing diet while travelling.

Maintaining healthy food choices while travelling is a struggle in its own. We generally go off-diet while travelling, and binge on anything we get, which leads to unnecessary calorie intake leaving us bloated and lethargic. Here are few tips for healthy eating while travelling. 1. Drink lots of water: Drinking a lot of water can also make you eat less food thus restricting the calorie intake for the day. 2. Carry healthy snacks: Always keep healthy snacks handy like fruits, boiled eggs, yogurt and have them in short intervals. This helps in avoiding cravings and unhealthy food choices. 3. Avoid eating junk that add unnecessary calories: Stick to food items that not only satisfy your cravings but also make you feel good after long. 4. Intermittent Fasting is a good strategy to use while you are traveling as it helps restrict your calories. 5. Avoid refined foods, sugary desserts, alcohol: Avoid deep fried foods, desserts, that are full of calories, alcohol and high glycemic foods like chips, sodas, juices etc. 6. Keep your protein intake high: We generally cut down our protein intake during vacations, eat enough protein to maintain your muscle mass. Make healthy choices, because vacations are not a free pass to eat anything you get. Vacations are meant to make us feel good and healthy!! #fatmacros #macronutrient #humfittohindiafit #nutritiontips #dietbreak #weightlosstips #weightlossjourney #womenshealth #menshealth
