Sleep & Stress
- Nachiketh Shetty

"My nutrition and exercise is on point. So, where am I going wrong?” If you have been waking up exhausted every morning, you need to fix your SLEEP! Here’s what you can do to ensure a good night’s sleep: 1. Ambience: Installing dim lights can have a relaxing effect. If you have a night shift, install blinds all around the house to cancel out the daylight. 2. Food and water: If eating carb-rich food makes you super active, then limit the carbs in your dinner or remove them completely. Include vegetables rich in zinc and magnesium (for e.g. spinach, fenugreek) in your dinner. Also, avoid drinking too much water at night. 3. Gadgets: Turn off all your gadgets 45 – 60 minutes before your sleep time. Most of the devices have a blue light filtering feature in them, use it. 4. Blue-light blocking glasses: Blue light suppresses ‘melatonin’, a hormone which induces sleep. Wearing blue light blocking glasses a few hours before sleep time will prevent the suppression of melatonin. 5. Gratitude journal: Write down three things you are grateful to have in your life. Making this a daily habit shifts you into a positive mindset and improves the quality of your sleep.

You can use Bhamri Kriya 10 rounds which will help you to release melatonin hormones which is responsible for sleep and it’s better if you can avoid phone before 30-45 min and do breath watching 😊
