Dysmenorrhea is basically period pain right before and during menstrual cycle. Here is a SR which aimed to know the effectiveness of exercise for women with primary dysmenorrhea. So the conclusion came out to be that an exercise session of 45-60mins, 3days/week or more will help in providing significant reduction in period pain intensity. The intensity of the exercise can either be low or high. So stay Active rather than not exercising at all, to help yourself from painful periods.
