How many of you think you cannot get fit because of your busy work schedule?
How many of you use your working hours as an excuse to skip diet and workout?
How many of you are suffering from lower back pain or frozen shoulder or cervical pain because of long working hours?
Do you think everyone who is into fitness is absolutely free and have nothing else to do in his/her life?
Do you skip dinner parties and weekend getaways because of your busy corporate life?

I come across this excuse or maybe a genuine issue for some, that I have long working hours and taking out time for diet or workout is not possible for me.

Do you skip meals because of your hectic schedule? No right, then what's the issue in following a balanced and quantified diet. Who is asking you to add fancy food items in the diet? Keep it simple so that it's easy for you to cook in the morning and saves time.
How much time does it take to boil eggs or even make an omelette?
Is making rice with green veggies a cumbersome and time taking process? I do it every day so I know it doesn't. Wake up 15-20 mins earlier and you can easily manage to cook for yourself.

Is 60 mins workout in a day too much to ask for? I understand you might have a busy schedule and you don't get time for the workout but do you think it's important for you to focus on your physical activity levels considering your current condition. You are a better judge for your own self. If you think you need it, you need to take out sometime because things will get worst in the future. You won't lose weight or gain muscle or improve endurance by just sitting in the office for 15 hours. The way you are committed for your work, similarly, you need to give the commitment to your health as well.

I know its easier said than being done. I myself work for more than 13 hours in a day as a corporate manager and a mentor but still stay on track wrt my diet and my workout schedule because that's my priority.

Let me give you an example of a person who is well known for his time management; Matin Shaikh

How many of you know about his work schedule and his dedication to fitness?

Many of us know him as a senior mentor with Squats and an Admin of all Squats Official Facebook Groups.

But do you know he is involved with 4 different jobs in one single day?

He is a consultant with an IT company; A Squats Mentor; Admin of Facebook Groups (trust me this is the most difficult job he has); and someone who is also working/learning something which interests him and it's unique as well that keeps him occupied for 2 hours every day (it's not related to fitness).

When I asked him about his working hours in total, it was not less than 14 hours a day. Look at his pic, do you think this guy skip his workout and diet. Although this pic is old but who follows him closely knows he more or less maintains it year around.

Its been 8 years he is into fitness and doesn't work out for more than 60 mins in a day but he makes sure that he doesn't skip his routine. No matter what, his 6-day schedule never gets disturbed. To my surprise, he cooks everything on his own. On rare occasions, he orders food from outside but that too in macros.

Do you think he has more than 24 hours in a day? No right, the only thing he has is a commitment to his work and his health. It's so easy to get into the comfort zone and leave everything to destiny but there are only few who knows what is expected out of them and they actually work for it.

If you want it, you will do it. You just need to set your priorities right.

Have a safe Workout!!
