LIST OF SOME HEALTHY FOODS DURING PREGNANCY. Choice of food plays a very important role during the pregnancy period. Always try to check the food nutrition label behind any products if you are not sure about its ingredients and macros. 1. Add a combination of fruits, green veggies, some whole grain products like bread, cereals. If you looking for some dairy products you can add a mixture of milk, cheese, cottage cheese, unsweetened yogurts. 2. For protein sources, you can add a combination of meat, poultry, fish, eggs, etc. 3. Limit the products high in sugar like candies, pastries, sweets, ice creams, flavored drinks, etc. 4. Amongst veggies, you can add a combination of broccoli, asparagus and some green leafy veggies like spinach, lettuce, etc. 5. Oranges, grapefruits, strawberries, ripe papayas can be the best amongst all fruits. 6. Legumes such as beans, lentils, chickpeas are also a healthy source to add in your plan. 7. Bread, cereals, pasta, white/brown rice are healthiest amongst the grains. 8. Last but not least, drink a good amount of water throughout the day. In short, you need to provide your body with all good amount of nutrients it needs especially vitamin A, Vitamin D, calcium, appropriate protein, fiber, fats, and carbohydrates intake. Always remember eating healthy and in right proportions can have wonderful effects on the prenatal development of your child.
